Christian rockers Third Day have just announced dates for The Miracle Tour, which will see the band on the road with American Idol finalist Colton Dixon, and singer/songwriter Josh Wilson. The tour kicks off on February 21, in Fairfax, VA, with a show at the Patriot Center. Also on the docket are stops in the Midwest, South, and a few shows on the East Coast, like a gig in Glens Falls, NY, on March 1. Third Day will also play a show in their home state of Georgia, when they perform in Atlanta on April 13. The tour wraps up on May 10, in Louisville, KY.

Inspiration behind the name The Miracle Tour was taken from the name of Third Day’s latest album, Miracle, which comes out November 6. Producer Brendan O’Brien, who has worked with the likes of Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen, worked with the band on the album, so you can expect to hear the band’s signature style along with some more modern sounds. Third Day drummer, David Carr, recently said, “We poured so much into this record because we wanted to bring our fans our very best.” Judge for yourself when you see these dudes on tour next year.
