Although you probably won’t be seeing Eric Clapton tour the world anytime soon, it seems the guitar god won’t be giving up performing live entirely. In celebration of his 70th birthday, the iconic blues rocker has announced a two-night stint at Madison Square Garden in NYC on May 1 & 2.

Joining him onstage will be Paul Carrack, Steve Gadd, Nathan East, Chris Stainton, Sharon White and Michelle John. Opening the show on both nights is Andy Fairweather Low and the Low Riders. Tickets on the primary market go on sale March 20, 11 AM via Ticketmaster. They will surely sell out, so check below for a complete listing of tickets available on the secondary market through SeatGeek.

Eric Clapton Madison Square Garden Setlist Rumors

OK–so we don’t know the exact setlist Clapton will bust out with over the course of his two-day birthday celebration. But we can take a pretty accurate guess. Based on the data provided by (thanks, guys!), we’ve compiled a list of Clapton’s most frequently performed songs to-date, as well as the setlist from a series of his concerts in 2014. Because the guitar god has expressed his disdain for the road, we’d venture to guess that he’ll stick to the script and just play the hits. As long as we hear “Layla,” we really don’t care.
