The Boys are Back in Town: Titus Andronicus’s Upcoming Spring Tour
Bring Back the Dudes Tour 2013
The guys from Titus Andronicus, together with So So Glos, are giving the people what they want: more dudes. The dynamic band duo has announced their “Bring Back the Dudes” tour scheduled for this spring with stops across North America. Fans can thank each other for the upcoming reunion tour; according to Titus Andronicus, they have been flooded with requests for a sequel to their 2009 tour with their So So Glos buds. Starting on April 28, they will answer this call to (touring) action and no doubt bring the “havoc and mayhem from sea to shining sea” again.
The dudes will kick off their tour in New England with stop in Hamden, CT at The Space and Cambridge, MA at Middle East Downstairs. Canadian fans can catch the guys in Montreal at Lambi and twice in Ontario at Ottawa’s Mavericks and Toronto’s Lee’s Palace. They’ll then make stops in the Midwest at Magic Stick in Detroit and at Chicago’s Metro. Texans can share in the bromance at the shows in Dallas, Austin and Houston before the guys make their Southern stops. New Orleans and Nashville fans will be able to see the bands at Siberia and Stone Fox. The tour will end with shows in Charlotte, Richmond and final Washington, DC at the Black Cat.

Titus Andronicus Tour
Not to be confused with the Shakespearean tragedy, Titus Andronicus – the punk/indie band from New Jersey – will spend the majority of the remainder of 2012 on tour. The tour, which is in support of their latest studio release, Local Business, kicks off on October 23 in Philadelphia. The jaunt sees the rockers in the Mid-Atlantic with shows in DC and Virginia, several shows in the South, with dates in Tennessee and Texas, and a slew of West Coast dates, including five gigs in California. The band will also give the Midwest and East Coast their fair share of love, with dates in Wisconsin, Illinois, Burlington, and Boston. The tour wraps up on December 2 in New York City.
Titus Andronicus has been garnering buzz even in the earliest stages of their career. Their first album, The Airing of Grievances, earned itself a positive review from Pitchfork magazine, and their second album debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. In 2010, Rolling Stone magazine named them one of the best new bands of the year. They’ve even performed on primetime television, making their network TV debut on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last year. Check out this much-buzzed about band when they tour this fall.
