K-Pop’s latest export, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, are hitting the road for their first-ever US tour.

Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai are part of the green (and, by genre standards, relatively small) new group from the masterminds behind BTS. They’ve shared that they are hitting the United States after just dropping their debut album The Dream Chapter: STAR.

The announcement is a bit of a turning point for the genre in the US, as previously it was viewed as a mark of undeniable massiveness to launch an American tour. BTS and Super Junior were globally adored before they were viewed as big enough to mount an American leg of their tours. TOMORROW X TOGETHER playing six dates before that point is a great sign for the continuing growth of the super slick genre in the US.

TXT start their trek at New York’s Playstation Theater on May 9. After that, they head to Chicago to play at the Vic Theatre. A stop in American boy bands’ ancestral home follows with a show at Orlando’s Plaza Live. Two more Southern dates in Atlanta and Dallas get the band moving West toward their final destination at Los Angeles’ Novo on May 24.
