This week, Tool and T.I. announce summer tours, plus Hanson celebrates 25 years in the biz. Also, The Who push back their retirement with a Vegas residency. Here’s who we’re most excited to see announce shows.

Tool Summer Tour

After previously announcing headlining slots at Governors Ball and Boston Calling, Tool officially released dates for a summer tour, performing in some cities for the first time in over a decade. It begins on May 24 in Fairfax, VA, at the Eaglebank Arena, followed by stops in New England, Canada, NYC and Michigan. The final show is slated for June 8 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL. The North American leg of the “Middle of Everywhere” tour starts on September 17 in Dallas, TX, at the House of Blues, and concludes on October 17 in Houston, TX, at the House of Blues there. Australian and South American dates will be announced at a later date. Hanson will also be releasing a greatest hits album of the same name later this year. Click here for tickets.

My Morning Jacket have just announced plans for a 13-date summer tour. The Jim James-fronted band will perform throughout the East Coast and parts of the Midwest, including a headlining slot at this year’s Electric Forest. The tour kicks off on June 22 in Cincinnati, OH, at the PNC Pavilion at Riverbend Music Center and wraps up on August 12 in North Adams, MA. T.I. ‘Hustle Gang’ Tour

In support of his new album, Us Or Else, T.I. is hitting the dusty trail for a series of shows this spring/summer. The “Hustle Gang” tour will kick off on April 26 at Soul Kitchen in Mobile, AL, followed by stops throughout the South, East Coast, Midwest and California. After a run through Texas, the tour comes to a close on June 11 in Jacksonville, FL. Click here for tickets.

The Who Las Vegas Residency

Despite promises of retirement, The Who aren’t ready to call it quits just yet. The veteran rockers have announced a Las Vegas residency slated for this July. The six-show run will take place at Caesars Palace, kicking off on July 29 and running through August 11. They’re also performing a string of concerts in the UK from March 30 to April 7. The band has described it as a “first run” of shows, so stay tuned for more dates. Click here for tickets.
