‘Ladies Love Country Boys’ Like Trace Adkins
After a bit of a rocky start (there was a fight on a cruise ship we’re not talking about), Trace Adkins has just announced plans to get back on the road. Supported by the Sarepta Gentleman’s Club (not the naked dancing kind of club, more like his six-piece band), Adkins will kick off his tour on June 5 at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ. Next, he’ll travel through Mt. Pocono, PA; Atlantic City, NJ; Niagara Falls, NY; Frederiction, NB; Biloxi, MS; Baton Rouge, LA; Green Bay, WI; Sloan, IA; Prior Lake, MN; Peoria, IL; Helena, MT; Eugene, OR; Huntington, NY; Thunder Bay, ON; Cincinnati, OH; Nichols, NY; and Hot Springs, AR. The tour will culminate in a show on September 26 at Weill Hall in Rohnert Park, CA. Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
Trace Adkins made his Nashville debut with 1995’s Dreamin’ Out Loud, and he’s been making country music ever since, releasing a total of eight studio albums and two Greatest Hits compilations. He’s had three No. 1 hits on the Billboard charts (“(This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing,” “Ladies Love Country Boys,” and “You’re Gonna Miss This”). All but one of his studio albums have received gold or platinum certifications.
