UPDATE: Train Tour 2013
Over the course of their career, Train has had eight Grammy nominations, three Grammy awards and has had significant radio and commercial success with singles such as “Drops of Jupiter,” “Calling All Angels,” “Hey, Soul Sister,” “If It’s Love,” and “Drive By.” Having started in San Francisco back in 1994 and having had a brief hiatus from 2006 through 2009, the band has been reunited and going strong for almost four years, consistently touring each year across North America.
This coming summer, the band will team up with The Script and Gavin DeGraw for a tour across the United States called “California 37 Tour 2013” in reference to the band’s latest album, released back in 2012.

Train Concerts
The tour will kick off July 17 in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, at the Blossom Music Center and will visit outdoor venues and amphitheaters in cities and towns such as Noblesville, Wantagh, Camden, Charlotte, Atlanta, Dallas, Phoenix, Irvine, and their hometown of San Francisco before wrapping up on August 14 in Auburn, WA, at the White River Amphitheatre.

The feel-good rock band of our generation, Train, have announced a UK tour slated for early next year. The jaunt will begin on February 14 (aww, how romantic) in Newcastle at the O2 Academy. After that it’s off to Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, and Manchester. After just one day off, the band will resume the tour and play their remaining dates in Leeds and London, finally wrapping up on February 23 in Wolverhampton at the Civic Hall.

Train has been around for a long time. Everybody remembers when they burst onto the scene with the smash single, “Meet Virginia,” in 1998, and who doesn’t still sing along to “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)” in the shower? While the band took a hiatus from 2006 to 2009, their music has remained cemented throughout our culture. You can even hear their song “Drive By” in the newest Ford commercial! Since their formation in 1994, Train has earned themselves three Grammy Awards and five nominations, two Billboard Music Awards, and one ASCAP Pop Music Award.
