Noted American bluegrass act Trampled by Turtles will end the year with a tour of the Southeastern United States. After getting back from a European tour, the band will start their American leg on December 9 at Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte, NC. Next, Trampled by Turtles will head to Richmond, VA; Raleigh, NC; Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; St. Petersburg, FL; Lake Buena Vista, FL; Charleston, SC (at Music Farm); Chattanooga, TN; Atlanta, GA; and Birmingham, AL, before finishing things up just in time for the holidays at the Brown Theatre in Louisville, KY, on December 20. All of these tour dates are to support Trampled by Turtles’ newest album, Wild Animals, out now. Ticketing info for these dates and all others can be found on the band’s website.

Hailing from Duluth, MN, Trampled by Turtles cite their inspiration as artists like Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Bob Dylan, and Ralph Stanley. They’ve released eight studio albums, the most recent of which, Wild Animals, was released this year. Trampled by Turtles is a darling on the festival set, having playing sets at mega fests like Coachella, Stagecoach, Bumbershoot, Newport Folk Festival, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Firefly Festival, and more. They made their national television debut in 2012 on Late Show with David Letterman.
