Belgium Babe Trixie Whitley Announces Spring Tour Dates
Update
After finishing off her first round of U.S. dates, singer/songwriter Trixie Whitley has announced another batch of shows that will take her through the spring. In support of her latest album, Whitley is currently performing overseas and will take the stage at at Stadthalle in Vienna, AU, this evening. The singer will touch down in the States on April 26, kicking things off with a show at Glasslands in Brooklyn, NY. The tour wraps up on May 11 at Maxwell’s in Hoboken, NJ. Previous Trixie Whitley News
Brooklyn-based songstress Trixie Whitley has announced dates for a brief winter tour. The shows are in support of her latest album, Fourth Corner, which is due out on January 29. It kicks off on January 31, at Le Poisson Rouge in New York, NY, and will see the artist throughout the East Coast and South, including a show at Molly Malone’s in Covington, KY, on February 10. The tour wraps up on February 12, at Schubas in Chicago, IL.

Although she calls New York City her home, the 25-year-old musician was born in Belgium and moved to the States at age one with her father, the late musician Chris Whitley. She began playing music and performing with theater companies throughout Europe at a young age, and at 17 migrated back to New York and began making a name for herself performing in the city. Besides her latest album, she’s also released three EPs, including Live at Rockwood Music Hall, a popular NYC nightclub located in Manhattan.
