For the first time in three years, Brooklyn indie wonders TV on the Radio have got a new album coming out. Seed will be released this fall, but for now you can check out their new single “Happy Idiot” below. Oh, AND they’re going on tour to promote it. The guys will start things off at the Santa Barbara Bowl on October 17. From there, it’s on to more shows throughout California, including Big Sur, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Joshua Tree. After playing the Life is Beautiful Music Festival in Las Vegas on October 25, they’ll play Toronto and Montreal and then head on to a leg through the Northeast. The band will play the Paradise Rock Club in Boston on November 14, followed by shows in Philadelphia and New York’s Apollo Theater. They’ll close out the tour with a two-night stint at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on November 21 and 22.

Since the release of their Young Liars EP in 2003, TV on the Radio have earned near constant praise from critics for their eclectic style and varied influences. Although they’ve included many temporary members and numerous collaborators, the group’s core members remain Tunde Adebimpe, David Sitek, Kyp Malone, and Jaleel Bunton. Seeds is set for a Novembers 18 release.
