Two Door Cinema Club’s 2013 UK Tour Plans
UPDATE: V Festival
Two Door Cinema Club have been confirmed on the bill of this year’s V Festival. Held annually in the United Kingdom, the festival takes place at two parks simultaneously and share the same bill – those parks being Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in South Staffordshire. Bands and artists perform at one location on Saturday and then swap on Sunday.
Set to take place August 17 and August 18, the festival dates are just two of several big festival appearances the band has this year. Check out below for more details.
Other acts on the bill include the headliners, Beyonce and Kings of Leon, The Vaccines, Emeli Sandé, Jason Mraz, Fun., Ellie Goulding, Kendrick Lamar and many more.

UPDATE: Sonar Festival
Two Door Cinema Club, who continue to build their tour plans across Europe in 2013 (see below posts for more details), have revealed their plans to be one of the headlining acts as part of the 2013 edition of the Sonar Festival.
Set to take place June 14 through June 16 in Barcelona, Spain, the Sonar Festival is a huge event, drawing over 80,000 attendees over the course of three days, all of whom set out to enjoy the best in international music and art, with a heavy emphasis on the tunes.
Two Door Cinema Club will join Skrillex, Pet Shop Boys and Kraftwerk as the biggest names on the bill for the festival.

UPDATE: BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend
It has been nine years but now the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend festival will be back in Londonderry, Northern Ireland for a three day event set to take place May 24 through May 26. The free event has not yet revealed the full lineup and headlining acts, but has announced that Ireland’s own Two Door Cinema Club will be on the bill.
Last year the event was staged at London’s Hackney Marshes to mark the opening of the Olympic Park. Jay-Z headlined the event, which also included performances from Jack White, Lana Del Rey and Florence and The Machine. (source: NME)
The band is going to have a busy 2013 with a UK tour currently underway and performances scheduled for Coachella in the United States and T in The Park later this year.
UPDATE: Coachella
Two Door Cinema Club will be returning to the United States after their gigs in Texas set to take place in April. They have been added to one of the largest music festivals in the United States – Coachella.
Set to take place April 12-14 and April 19-21 in Indio, California, the festival will feature the Irish band on April 13 and April 20, the Saturday night of each weekend. The band joins the headliners scheduled to perform throughout the festival – The Stone Roses, Blur, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Phoenix.

Lost among the many tour updates for Two Door Cinema Club that featured news of their addition to various festival lineups as well as their extensive 2013 European tour, was the news that the band will play two shows in Texas this coming April.
Set to take place April 9 in Austin at Stubb’s Amphitheatre and April 11 in Dallas at the Palladium Ballroom, the two shows have tickets on sale now. Add a major United Kingdom festival to the plans of Two Door Cinema Club in 2013. Announced this week, the Northern Irish rock band will join the likes of Mumford & Sons, The Killers, Rihanna, The Script, Of Monsters & Men and Azealia Banks as part of the lineup of T In The Park.

Two Door Cinema Club, the Northern Irish rock band, announced 2013 tour plans across the United Kingdom next January, February and April. The UK dates are part of a larger European 2013 tour for the band which has them touring across the continent during the first four months of the year.
