The ever-prolific Ty Segall has just announced a new solo album (titled Manipulator) that will hit shelves on August 26 and with it, a pretty intense world tour. Segall will start the tour off by playing Bonnaroo on June 12. After that, he’ll take a break until August 23, when he’ll play the FYF Fest in Los Angeles on August 23, followed by a four-night stint at the Echo from August 28 to 31. From there, it’s on to Tucson, AZ, followed by a run through Texas, and then on to the South — highlights include New Orleans on September 6, Memphis on September 7, Nashville on September 8 and Atlanta on September 9.
Segall will hit Tallahassee on September 10 and then run through the rest of Florida and eventual make his way up through Georgia and North Carolina to Washington D.C. He’ll play New York’s Webster Hall on September 17, followed by a series of shows in the Northeast and Canada. He crosses back over the border to play Detroit on September 22 and few more shows through the Midwest, eventually playing Beauty Bar in Las Vegas on September 28. Then it’s on to the European leg of the tour with shows in France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, and more. Segall will finish up the tour in England, playing Manchester on November 10, Leeds on November 11, and a final show at London ‘s Electric Ballroom November 12.
