Vampire Weekend are gearing up to release their most ambitious project yet with the double album Father of the Bride. And the group just announced a tour to match. Ezra Koenig and Co. will hit the road for 35 shows, including huge rooms like Madison Square Garden and The Hollywood Bowl.

The band just shared the first taste of their upcoming album and it looks like they are moving away from the post-Graceland sound that they made their name on. Tracks like “Harmony Hill” and “2021” lean more toward Jerry Garcia than world music, making it the perfect soundtrack to summer time gigs.

The tour starts in May with a set at Gulf Shores’ Hangout Festival. After that the solo sets kick off with a show in Toronto. Vampire Weekend winds their way through the Midwest with stops in Milwaukee, St. Louis and Chicago. The band heads south for a series of shows in North Carolina and Texas. After sets in Miami and St. Augustine, the band heads back to their East Coast stomping grounds. September brings gigs in Boston, Philly, New York and Montreal.

A quick break and a long flight lands the band on the West Coast for a run from Vancouver down to San Diego. The run closes out with shows in Salt Lake City and Denver in October.

Tickets go on sale February 8; take a look at the tour dates below.
