Wavves To Make Waves Through North America This Fall
American surf rock band Wavves is ready to catch one and travel throughout North America. Tour dates for this fall have been announced, with bands Jacuzzi Boys and King Tuff supporting Wavves along the way. The tour kicks off on September 23 in Denver, and then continues through Chicago, Illinois; Washington, D.C.; New York City; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Vancouver, British Columbia; Los Angeles, California; and quite a few more. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 26 – better get ’em before they’re gone!
Wavves was formed in San Diego, California in 2008 as a solo project of Nathan Williams. Once the project began to pick up speed (and after the release of several 7″s, a cassette, and two albums), Ryan Ulsh became the touring drummer, making a nice little duo. Wavves has released four studio albums, the most recent of which is titled Afraid of Heights, released on March 26, 2013.
