Where to Watch the Final Grateful Dead Shows
This Fourth of July weekend, the Grateful Dead will perform the final three shows of their career as the “core four.” Members Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann will be joined by Trey Anastasio, Bruce Hornsby, and Jeff Chimenti for a multi-night blowout at Soldier Field in Chicago.
We all know that ticket prices are out of control, so for those who can’t be there in the flesh, there are plenty of other options. Below is a list of all the ways you can get front row seats without even leaving your house.
While it will cost you $29.95 per show (OK, still much cheaper than the actual shows), you can stream every night of the 3-night affair through YouTube. Click here to purchase.
If you prefer to stream on a channel other than YouTube, for the same price you can head over to Nugz.tv and watch the shows. Click here to order now.
Purchase the stream through the Dead50 official website and watch live or on demand for 30 days. Click here for more information.
The Chicago performances will also be available through the normal pay-per-view providers, as well as DISH and DIRECTV. Check here to see the list of cable and satellite options.
If you’re a lucky owner of a SiriusXM subscription, you can tune in to hear the shows live each night beginning at 9:15ET. The shows will air on the Grateful Dead channel, naturally.
