Extended U.S. Tour Dates
Rockers Yes have announced additional tour dates which will extend their current U.S. run into the summer months. After finishing up their current leg at the Fox Theatre in Detroit, MI, on April 12, they’ll play a smattering of shows overseers in Brazil, Chile and Argentina. On July 6, they will head back to the states and kick off the second leg of travel with a show at Vina Robles in Paso Robles, CA. This is one of several West Coast dates before the band moves back to the South with shows in Atlanta, GA; Jackson, MS; and Birmingham, AL. They’ll also make the rounds on the East Coast again, and they’ll perform at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, on July 28. The fun wraps up on August 14 with a gig at the Rosemont Theatre in Rosemont, IL. Check out the complete list of their 2013 tour dates below.
Yes Tour
In keeping with their annual touring tradition, English rock band Yes have announced dates for a North American tour this spring. The fun begins on March 1, with a gig in West Wendover, NV, at Peppermill Concert Hall, and sees them throughout the West Coast, South and even a couple days in the East. On April 9, the band will hit up New York City for a show at the Beacon Theatre, followed by a stop in Toronto, ON, at Massey Hall.

The tour will feature complete performances of their top three most popular albums, 1971’s The Year Album, 1972’s Close to the Edge, and 1977’s Going for the One. The decision to perform the albums in their entirety may be credited to the success that artists like Bruce Springsteen and Peter Frampton have had by utilizing the same tactic of playing fan favorites. Of the upcoming tour, Yes singer Chris Squire has said, “The idea to do a classic albums tour has been on the backburner for quite a few years… it’s selling very well and we’re very happy about that.”
