ZZ Top has announced a tour which will showcase their new album, La Futura, the band’s fifteenth studio release. The tour kicks off at the beginning of May and will run throughout the entire month, plus a few one-off shows in June and August.  For many blue blood Americans, and classic rock n’ roll fans around the country, it must seem fitting to have a ZZ Top tour act as an official kick-off to the summer season.  They’ll play 15 shows total for the duration of the month, and will head overseas for some gigs as well.  Following a summer tour in Europe, the group will return to the U.S. for a stint at the Bonnaroo Music Festival and The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The hard-working band also just finished a tour in Australia with Guns N’ Roses.

Folks living on the East Coast can also catch them in Atlantic City, NJ, on May 11, as well as Wallingford, CT, on May 8. Stay tuned to SeatGeek for updates on the ZZ Top 2013 tour.
