Yankees vs. Tigers in ALCS, Ticket Info Here
The American League Championship Series, currently underway with the Detroit Tigers holding a 1-0 lead and Game 2 in progress as we post, features the Tigers taking on the New York Yankees.
The Tigers, coming off of a tough 5 game series against the Oakland Athletics and winning a decisive game 5 in Oakland are led by the bats of Prince Fielder and Triple Crown winner Miguel Cabrera and Justin Verlander on the mound. The Yankees will have to beat the Tigers without Derek Jeter, who broke his ankle in Game 1. They still have a lineup featuring Curtis Granderson, Ichiro Suzuki, Mark Teixeira and Robinson Cano to go along with the postseason heroics of Raul Ibanez.
The Yankees also won in 5 games versus versus the Baltimore Orioles, having to do so against a tough Baltimore lineup and bullpen.
