Arizona Diamondbacks Players 2013

The Arizona Diamondbacks finished the 2012 season with a 81-81 record, good for third place in the National League West and seven games out of a Wild Card spot. Coming into the 2013 season, the Diamondbacks will be led by the big bat of Jason Kubel, who in his first year since coming over from the Minnesota Twins banged out 30 HR and 90 RBI. In addition to Kubel, the Diamondbacks’ lineup features Aaron Hill, Paul Goldschmidt and Justin Upton, who led the team with 18 stolen bases. As for the pitching staff, the Diamondbacks are led by Wade Miley (16-11 record), Ian Kennedy (187 strikeouts) and Trevor Cahill with J.J. Putz coming out of the bullpen with 32 saves last season.

Arizona Diamondbacks New Players 2013

The Diamondbacks made a number of solid moves in the offseason to bolster their roster. New to the team are Martin Prado, Cody Ross and Eric Chavez, all of whom provide depth in the infield and outfield. Also signed was starting pitcher Brandon McCarthy.
