Atlanta Falcons playoff tickets went on sale this morning and sold out in just a few minutes.  The Falcons did not disclose how many tickets were sold but they have reserved a set number of tickets to be released at a later date.  The Falcons need just one more win to secure home field advantage throughout the playoffs and they are playing the 2-win Carolina Panthers in week 17 so there is a very good chance that the Falcons will have home field advantage.  If the Falcons can secure home field advantage throughout the playoffs this would put them in a great position to make a trip to the Super Bowl considering Matt Ryan is 19-1 at home and the Falcons are 6-0 at home this season.

The average ticket price on the secondary market for a Falcons hosted NFC Championship is $345.35 which is around 57% more expensive than the average ticket price for a Falcons hosted Wild Card/Divisional Playoff game which is $219.64 per ticket.  These are early numbers and we will keep you updated as the NFC playoff picture firms up.
