Big Ten Conference Tournament Preview

The Big Ten is having a big year in men’s basketball. Having several nationally ranked teams and a few on the cusp of being ranked, the conference tournament is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in all of the NCAA. Set to take place March 14 through March 17, the tournament will again be held at the United Center in Chicago. Tickets are on sale now and the best deals can be found right here at SeatGeek.

With a conference that features Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Wisconsin – all nationally ranked – the Big Ten is another powerhouse conference in men’s collegiate basketball, much like the ACC and Big East. Depending on how the tournament brackets shake out, fans may end up seeing some intense rivalries, such as Indiana-Michigan, Minnesota-Wisconsin, Michigan-Michigan State and several others. The rivalries in this conference are pretty intense and it makes for great March Madness basketball.

This year’s tournament kicks off this coming Thursday, March 14 with Minnesota taking on Illinois. It will run through Sunday, March 17, when the championship game will take place at 2:30 pm at the United Center and will be televised on CBS.
