Carolina Panthers Fans See Ticket Price Increase in 2015
Although the Carolina Panthers faced their first season loss on Sunday, it seems that overall fans are paying more than ever to see the team play. Average resale prices for tickets are the highest they’ve been in the last five years, since SeatGeek began tracking them on the secondary market.
Panthers Average Resale Price
Year | Ticket Price |
2015 | $172 |
2014 | $117 |
2013 | $119 |
2012 | $125 |
2011 | $106 |
While Panthers fans may be seeing higher ticket prices than in the past, they are still only the 11th most expensive team to see in the NFL with an overall average resale price of $172. These teams all have more expensive home tickets: Broncos, Patriots, Seahawks, Packers, Giants, Cowboys, Steelers, Bears, Eagles, Texans.
The most expensive Panthers home game we have seen since SeatGeek started tracking the secondary market was actually this year’s matchup with the Packers, which had an average resale price of $281. This year’s matchup against the Redskins was also a hot ticket, with an average resale price of $200.
