At an average price of $182 on the resale market, demand is extremely high for tickets to the Wild’s Stadium Series game against the Blackhawks on Sunday. That’s 72% higher than the average resale price to see the Wild at home this season ($106).

The $182 average resale price makes this the hottest regular season Wild ticket since at least 2010, behind only eight home games during 2014 and 2015 playoff runs. A Penguins visit earlier this season ($164) and last Saturday’s Bruins game at Xcel Energy Center ($156) are next in line.

Tickets to Blackhawks vs Wild

Minnesota fans should be ready to pay an NFL-level price point. This Stadium Series game is drawing a higher average resale price than all but one Vikings home game from this past season (tickets for the Packers visit on 11/22/15 went for $196 on average). It’s proving to be a more in demand event than even the Vikings first round playoff game against the Seahawks ($98).

Fan excitement for NHL outdoor games, which include the Stadium Series, Winter Classic, and Heritage Classic events, is evident. Tickets to these games have, on average, resold for nearly three times as much as all other NHL regular season games ($253 compared to $87).
