With or Without D Rose, The Bulls Look Toward Playoff Action
Chicago Bulls Playoffs
The Chicago Bulls, who have surprisingly had a solid season in 2012-2013 despite losing Derrick Rose last season to a brutal knee injury, are in a position to be in the playoffs this year. The team hopes that Rose can come back in time for the playoffs, as he has been medically cleared by team doctors but does not feel quite ready to get back on the court just yet. The Bulls have a 36-29 record, good for a three way tie with the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics for the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Joakim Noah has been the story for the Bulls this year. He has had a great season, the best thus far in his career, averaging 12 points per game, 11.5 rebounds per game and 2.2 blocks per game. Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng have both had solid seasons as well, picking up the slack in Rose’s absence.

The Bulls have games remaining against the Denver Nuggets, Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat, Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks.
