December is around the corner, which means the 2022 season of college bowl games will kick off soon. This year’s bowl season begins on Friday, December 16th with the Bahamas Bowl and Cure bowl, followed by a jam-packed 7-game slate on Saturday the 17th. 

This year’s Bowl Season will conclude on January 9th, 2023 at SoFi Stadium with the college football National Championship, where one team will be crowned best in the country.

Who is the favorite to win the National Championship?

According to Fanduel Sportsbook, the current favorite to win the national championship is the reigning champ Georgia at -130. Michigan has the 2nd best odds at +300, Ohio comes in third at +360 and TCU is the biggest underdog at +1800. 

How much are tickets for the National Championship?

Currently, the cheapest tickets for the National Championship game at SoFi stadium start at $1,150. Depending on what teams make the championship game, you may see prices spike or potentially fall a bit.  

How much are tickets for the New Year’s Six Bowl Games?

The New Year’s Six bowl games take place on December 31st and January 2nd in venues across the country. Since New Year’s Day falls on a Sunday this year, there’ll be no college football games played on New Year’s Day. 

These six iconic bowls are among the most historic games of the calendar year, with two of the six hosting College Football Playoff semifinals. 

This year, the two semifinal playoff matchups will be played at the Peach Bowl and Fiesta Bowl.
