Comerica Park Events

Comerica Park, home to the Detroit Tigers, was opened in 2000 and is located in downtown Detroit.

Since its opening, the stadium has been host to a number of other events other than Tigers home games. Concerts that have been staged at the ballpark include Eminem (2005), The Rolling Stones (2005), Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (2003), Bon Jovi (2003), Paul McCartney (2011) and Eminem & Jay-Z (2010). The first act to play the venue was the Dave Matthews Band in the summer of 2000. Later this summer, Jimmy Buffett will return to the ballpark to perform a show on July 20.

In addition to the concerts mentioned above, Comerica Park was scheduled to host the 2013 NHL Winter Classic between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the host Detroit Red Wings, but given the lockout the event was cancelled.
