The Creighton Bluejays come into the 2012-2013 season as the highest ranked mid-major program with the #16 ranking. The Bluejays, members of the Missouri Valley Conference who reached the NCAA tournament last year, come into the season with high hopes of doing the same this season.

Under head coach Greg McDermott, the Bluejays have a 52-21 record and were MVC champions last year. On their path to repeat, the Bluejays will have a 2012-2013 season schedule that has non-conference games against Wisconsin (#23), Saint Joseph’s and California, and tough conference contests against Northern Iowa, Indiana State and Wichita State.
