Game Predictions
It’s difficult to predict exactly who from each squad we’ll see, considering this match takes place just two weeks after the World Cup 2018 final, but the hope is at least some of Barcelona’s stars will make appearances. On the Barca side, we likely won’t see Messi, unless Argentina is knocked out early in the World Cup, but we should see players like Philippe Coutinho, Gerard Pique, and Sergio Busquets.
For A.S. Roma, expect to see the quick feet of forwards Edin Dzeko and Stephen El Shaaraway, as neither player’s international team (Bosnia and Italy, respectively) will be participating in this iteration of the World Cup.
Considering how deep the FC Barcelona roster is compared to Roma, the team has a solid shot at picking up the victory. However, don’t count out a fully staffed Roma squad that has played its way into the top three in Series A this season.
Regardless of the outcome in this friendly match, it’s not something you’re going to want to miss. Head here to browse tickets to the FC Barcelona vs. A.S. Roma, plus all other MLS games this season.
