Holiday Deals: NHL Tickets For Less Than Face Value
This is the first in a series of posts we’ll be running through December to help you find great deals on tickets across sports, concert, and theater events. Tickets make a great gift, and who doesn’t want to save a little money while spreading holiday cheer?
There are several great deals for NHL tickets around the league. Tickets for seats that are only a few rows from the glass are actually listed in the secondary market for less than face value. If you aren’tlooking to break the bank and sit down near the ice, there are also tickets in the upper sections for less than face value. Let’s take a look around the league to show a few examples.
Tampa Bay Lightning at Washington Capitals on Tuesday, January 4th at 7:00 pm – This is a quality match up, these two teams are currently first and second in the Southeast Conference.
Section 400, Row L – Face value for these tickets is $80 and they are listed for $47, just 58.8% of face value. As you can see from the image below, these seats are in the upper level but are on center ice.
Vancouver Canucks at New York Rangers on Thursday, January 13 at 7:00 pm – Vancouver is currently in first place in the Northwest Conference and the Rangers are a large market team currently five points behind the Penguins in the Eastern Conference.
Section 44, Row F – Face value for these tickets is $250.50 and they are listed at $185. These seats are only 6 rows off the ice in a great location.
Section 67, Row M – Face value for these tickets is $195.50 and they are listed at $146. These are amazing seats behind the net and they are almost $50 off the face value price.
Section 404, Row G – Face value for these tickets is $49.50 and they are listed at $35.
These are just a few examples taken from two of the higher quality match ups. There are so many great deals out there in the NHL right now, you can even find tickets to some games for less than 50% of face value.
Section 321, Row K – Face value for these tickets is $15 and they are listed at only $4, just 26.7% of face value. These aren’t the greatest seats in the house but they’re only $4.
