If you consider yourself to be a die-hard NFL fan, chances are you’ve thought about buying season tickets to your favorite team at least once.

Season tickets are the best way for fans to take in as much live football action as possible each year, as they guarantee entry to at least two preseason games and eight regular season contests.

One of the hardest season tickets to get is the Denver Broncos, who have one of the longest season ticket waiting lists in the entire National Football League.

If you’re interested in buying Broncos season tickets, we’ve got you covered with a quick guide on how to get your hands on those coveted tickets.

Benefits of Season Tickets

Before we get into our guide on how to buy season tickets for the Broncos, we thought we’d do a quick rundown of the benefits of having season tickets.

Price Stability

Season tickets are a flat fee per game, so you won’t have to pay extra money for games that have increased importance or higher demand

Access to Playoff tickets

Season ticket holders are given the first right of refusal for playoff tickets before they go on sale to the general public

NFL Perks

The league offers a few perks of its own to season ticket holders, including free access to NFL RedZone, a discount at the NFL’s online shop and access to the league’s Ticket Exchange

Broncos Perks

Broncos season ticket holders are given a few unique benefits from the team directly, including teleforum conferences with team personnel, season ticket holder giveaways and contests, game-day opportunities, pregame events and access to presales for other events at Mile High Stadium.

How to Purchase Broncos Season Tickets

On to the part you’ve been waiting for, our section on how to get Broncos tickets. Spoiler alert: it’s going to involve being patient and plenty of waiting.

The only way to buy season tickets for Mile High Stadium is to join the team’s waiting list through the Broncos online account managing website, which can be found here.

The waitlist for Broncos tickets is mindbogglingly long, which makes sense given the fact that the team has sold out every home game since 1970. According to the team, the current waiting list for season tickets is over 84,000 names long. This translates to a waiting period of up to 30 years to get season tickets. Ouch.

This essentially means that if you put your name on the season ticket list now, you’d possibly be looking at getting access to season tickets sometime around the year 2049.

Season Ticket Pricing Information

Back in 2015, the Denver Broncos switched to variable ticket pricing, which means that the team charges different prices for different games based on who the team is playing. The team’s eight home games are broken down into three categories “preseason games,” “premium games” and “marquee games”.

A chart containing the cost of a season ticket for each section at Empower Field at Mile High can be found here.

Personal Seat Licenses

Unlike a growing number of teams around the league, the Denver Broncos do not currently use personal seat licenses, which means that you do not need to pay a one-time fee per seat for the right to own season tickets.
