Welcome to the 2014 NFL Draft. At long last, the mock drafts are finished. I’m TBA blog writer Tolly, and if you want to track how many picks I’m getting wrong, here’s my one and only mock draft.

Let the real thing begin!

-I need to get seven correct to beat my personal best from last year. Please, let me get Clowney to the Texans right.

-One for one! Perfection. It’s still attainable.

-Annnd NOW he’s a millionaire. Doesn’t look too difficult.

-The Rams go with Greg Robinson! We’re two for two. If it can just stay like this…

-Ummm. Blake Bortles? At three? I did NOT have that. Bortles is good, but number three good? I don’t think so.

-The Bills gave up a first rounder next year for him, but I think Sammy Watkins is worth it.

-Khalil Mack to Oakland at #5. Great pick for them–probably their best first round pick in 10 years.

-The Falcons go with Jake Matthews. Somewhere, Matt Ryan is smiling right now.

-Mike Evans goes to Tampa Bay. Why didn’t I think of that?

-Browns trade with Vikings and pick Justin Gilbert. That’s a tough one to figure out, but I guess you have to like their secondary, pairing him with Joe Haden.

-This is where things fall apart. I was so happy with 4 for 7…sigh. The Vikings select Anthony Barr at #9.

-Lions select Eric Ebron…a tight end…huh.

-Titans are going with Taylor Lewan at 11. Hopefully he can keep Locker (or someone else) upright this season. Titans can’t afford any more injuries at QB.

-Odell Beckham to the Giants. Manning has his security blanket, even if it’s not Ebron like I thought.

-Rams go with Aaron Donald. Is anyone else seriously concerned for Carson Palmer’s health? At least those other two guys are mobile.

-Bears take Kyle Fuller, a CB they desperately need. He’ll have leaders like Jay Cutler to, er, wait. Give me a second. Tillman and Jennings – there we go.

-Interesting pick by Steelers. Going with the big name LB, Ryan Shazier. Classic Steelers building the D through their LBs.

-Cowboys select Johnny Manziel! Just kidding. They went with Zack Martin. Phew – Twitter would’ve broken.

-CJ Mosley to the Ravens. The next Ray Lewis? The Ravens hope sure hope so.

-Surprise, surprise, Jets fans booed the pick. Jets go with Calvin Pryor. Looks like Rex Ryan got his man.

-Dolphins go with…JaWuan James? Um, wait, who?

-Saints grab a WR, selecting Brandin Cooks at 20. Side note: He may be the best receiver in the draft.

-Green Bay goes with Ha Ha Clinton Dix, a safety. They fulfill a need with that pick. Also, best name in the draft, hands down.

-Browns trade with Eagles to get…Johnny Manziel! Oh boy. There’s a reason to watch the Browns this season.

-Chiefs, looking rather glum, pick Dee Ford. No one applauded.

-Bengals select Darqueze Dennard, CB. Looks like a steal at face value, but there’s probably a reason he was picked this late.

-Chargers pick Jason Verrett. The small corner plays big – good pick.

-Eagles select Marcus Smith, LB. Hmmm. Kinda thought they’d go WR here. Interesting. They’re either feeling good about Maclin and Cooper, or they feel confident they’ll get one in Round 2.

-Cardinals select Deone Bucannon, a safety. He’s big and fast, and he’ll pair nicely with Matthieu.

-Kelvin Benjamin to Panthers. He’s a Brandon Marshall type, who’s especially deadly in the red zone. One thing’s for sure: Cam Newton’s happy.

-Dominique Easley headed to New England. Oh, look , the Patriots select a defensive player. Yawn.

-49ers go with a safety in the first round for the second year in a row. Jimmy Ward jumps up the boards.

-Broncos go CB, drafting Bradley Roby. The Ohio State player joins a talented Broncos DB group, which includes Aqib Talib and T.J. Ward.

-With the final pick in the first round, the Vikings traded with the Seahawks to select QB Teddy Bridgewater. And that’s your 2014 first round!
