If you are a regular follower of our blog here at SeatGeek, you have probably taken in our snapshots of all the Major League Baseball teams from around the All Star break and most recently, a look at the teams who are in the hunt for a postseason birth and a shot at October baseball.

With the new structure of playoff baseball now featuring 2 Wild Card teams from each league, there are currently 15 teams that have a realistic chance of making the postseason, which creates for exciting action at the ballpark and an increased demand for tickets.

In the National League, divisional leaders such as the Washington Nationals, Cincinnati Reds and San Francisco Giants are joined by the Atlanta Braves, St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates and Los Angeles Dodgers battling it out for the Wild Card spots.

In the American League, divisional leaders such as the New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox and Texas Rangers are joined by the Baltimore Orioles, Tampa Bay Rays, Los Angeles Angels, Oakland A’s and Detroit Tigers. The Yankees and White Sox find themselves in tight divisional races as well.

We are in the midst of breaking down the teams mentioned above and if you’re a fan of one of them, what better way to root them on then heading on out to your home ballpark, grabbing a dog and brew and enjoying some peanuts and crackerjacks.
