If you have not already seen the footage of the Metrodome’s roof collapsing it is well checking out the video below.  The Minnesota Vikings claim that they will be able to fix the dome in time for their next home game against the Chicago Bears on December 20th.  Even if they do patch up the dome, would you really feel comfortable going to a game after seeing this footage?

This week’s game will be played tonight at Ford Field.  So what happens to all the people who had tickets to the Giants at Vikings game?  If a ticket holder for the Giants – Vikings game makes their way to Detroit to watch the game at Ford Field, the Vikings will upgrade their tickets to seats along the 50-yard line.  The Vikings will also give refunds to the original ticket holders.  30,000 General Admission tickets to the Giants – Vikings game tonight at Ford Field were available this morning at the Ford Field box office.  People were lining up at Ford Field overnight to get their hands on the free tickets. If you weren’t on line early you most likely missed your chance on getting free tickets to an NFL game because tickets were “sold out” within only 90 minutes.

If you were one of the 30,000 who got free tickets to the game or if you had tickets to the original game let us know in the comments or on Twitter @SeatGeek.
