Just one short month ago the Miami Heat ranked 2nd in our NBA Ticket Prices and Rankings with an average price of $157.28; they are currently ranked 9th with an average price of $72.53.  The average ticket to a Heat game is just 46.1% of what it was at the start of the season. This is no big surprise considering the Heat were hyped up since the inception of the Big 3 and are off to a lackluster 8-6 start. The below chart depicts the sharp decline in ticket prices for Miami Heat’s home games.

The Miami Heat square off against the 9-4 Orlando Magic tonight.  With a much needed win against the Magic there is a chance that Heat fans will gain confidence in their team.  With a loss tonight, it might be time for Pat Riley to step in and work his magic to rekindle the Heat’s flame.  I find it hard to imagine that the Heat can ever live up to expectations but they aren’t even coming close at the moment and fan sentiment is declining rapidly.
