In a week where College Gameday is travelling to a Conference-USA game, it’s easy to get the sense that this week’s slate of college football games is somewhat lackluster. But with all due respect to Houston and SMU (take the over in that one!), there are a handful of great college clashes this Saturday, with perhaps one of the best taking place in Ann Arbor, where the No. 16 Nebraska Cornhuskers will line up against the No. 18 Michigan Wolverines in front of over 100,000 fans in the Big House.

With each team standing at 8-2, Saturday’s game will have significant implications on the Big Ten pecking order, and a victory will provide either team a leg up in the event that Michigan State retrenches from its division-leading 5-1 conference record.

If you’re contemplating a trip to Ann Arbor for the game but haven’t yet bought tickets — be glad. Since peaking out at an average price of $203 during the week of October 2nd, average prices have plummetted week-over-week to an average of $137 so far through Monday and Tuesday of this week.

While ticket prices have been in decline, Saturday’s games is still one of the most pricey to be played in Michigan Stadium all year. Only the Wolverines’ home game against Notre Dame ($334.35) and their upcoming rivalry clash with Ohio State ($256.49) have fetched higher average ticket prices than this weekend’s game.
