Minnesota Vikings 2012 Preview
The Minnesota Vikings had a challenging 2011 season finishing with a franchise worst 3-13 record. With the hope of rebounding, the Vikings now look toward 2012 having to compete in arguably the toughest division in the NFL with the Lions, Packers and Bears all looming.
The offense is led by second year quarterback Christian Ponder, who had a shaky rookie season, and running back Adrian Peterson, who is coming off of season-ending surgery for a torn MCL and ACL. Percy Harvin leads the receiving core for head coach Leslie Frazier, who is in his second full year as head coach. On the defensive end, NFL sacks leader Jared Allen spearheads the front along with Chad Greenway.
The 2012 schedule has games against their division rivals mentioned before as well as against the 49ers, Colts and Texans.
