MLB Spring Training is only a few weeks away and here at SeatGeek, we are preparing for another great year of baseball. This off-season has been especially eventful. The Red Sox signed Stephen Drew to a $9.5 million deal. The Blue Jays traded for NL Cy Young Award winner R.A. Dickey, along with picking up Cabrera, Reyes, Johnson, and Buehrle. The Dodgers, Athletics, and 14 other teams also made major acquisitions. Yet, the most noteworthy news was the report that Alex Rodriguez, Melky Cabrera, and several other players were linked to steroids.

Who knows how the season will turn out, but already, analysts are predicting a power change in the MLB. Will the Dodgers, Blue Jays, and Nationals become the dominate franchises – unseating the Giants, Yankees, and Cardinals? Will the Dodgers turn out to be a bust, in similar fashion to how the Miami Marlins unraveled last season?

We will update this post throughout the season with our predictions for the 2013 World Series. In the meantime, check out the World Series ticket prices from the last four years (avg. over $600). Even though TV ratings have dwindled over the last 25, World Series prices remain the highest ever.
