The road to defending the NBA title for the Miami Heat will first go through the Milwaukee Bucks. The Heat, the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference and the defending NBA champions, will take on the #8 seed Milwaukee Bucks in a best-of-seven first round series.

The Heat, led by reigning NBA MVP LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, are the favorites to come out of the Eastern Conference yet again, having finished the 2012-2013 regular season with a record of 66-16 – the best record in all of the NBA and a record that included a winning streak of 27 games, the second longest in NBA history.
The Bucks on the other hand, who many see getting swept by the force that is the Heat, finished the regular season with a record of 38-44 – making them the only team in all of the NBA Playoffs to have a losing record. The Bucks were led this season by Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings in the back court.
Game 1 is set for this coming Sunday with a 7:00 PM tipoff at American Airlines Arena in Miami.
