The Indiana Pacers, the #3 seed in the Eastern Conference and considered by many to be the one team who matches up well enough with the Miami Heat to defeat them in the playoffs, come into the NBA Playoffs against the #6 seed Atlanta Hawks with a team of no clear superstars but a very formidable squad.
The Pacers finished the season with a record of 49-32 and the Central Division crown. They feature a squad highlighted by the talents of Roy Hibbert, Paul George and David West.

The Hawks on the other hand finished the 2012-2013 season with a record of 44-38, good for second place in the Southeast Division behind the Miami Heat. Their roster is led by swingman Josh Smith as well as All Star Al Horford and Jeff Teague.
