Bulls & Heat Set to Battle in Eastern Conference Semis
Miami Heat vs. Chicago Bulls Eastern Conference Semifinals Preview
So far, so good for the Miami Heat. On their quest to defend their NBA title and win for consecutive seasons, the Heat completed quick work of the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the NBA Playoffs with a four game sweep. Rested and healthy, the Heat look toward the Eastern Conference Semifinals against a bruised and battered Chicago Bulls team, who won a hard fought seven game series in the first round against the Brooklyn Nets. Led by newly crowned NBA Most Valuable Player LeBron James, the Heat hope to repeat what they did in the first round and move on to the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Bulls hope to regroup with a couple of days rest after seeing players battle the flu bug and bumps and bruises in the series against the Nets. Still lingering is the question if Derrick Rose will return this season or not. He sat out the first round and said that he is mentally not ready to get back on the court, but with teammates playing with injury (Joakim Noah, Luol Deng), the pressure has been on Rose to get back on the court.
Game 1 is set for this coming Monday with a 7:00 PM tipoff at American Airlines Arena in Miami.
