Philadelphia Eagles 2012 Preview
The Philadelphia Eagles, who had a disappointing 2011 season finishing 8-8 and missing out on the playoffs, look to live up to lofty expectations this season as they look to gel as a team and merge the all star level talent they have in multiple positions.
On the offensive end, Michael Vick leads the offense at quarterback along with DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin as the wide receivers and LeSean McCoy as the running back. Their defense is highlighted by cornerbacks Nnamdi Asomugha (pronounced nahm-dee ah-səm-wah) and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, DeMeco Ryans at linebacker and Nate Allen at safety.
The 2012 schedule for the Eagles includes games against divisional arch rivals the Giants, Cowboys and Redskins as well as games against the Ravens, Steelers, Lions, Falcons and Saints.
