As much of the MMA world expected, Rashad Evans was able to avenge his draw with Tito Ortiz, with a knockout victory in the second round (check out USA Today for a solid review). Props to Rashad for even taking this fight considering he injured his way out of a title fight, and then found himself facing a fighter that basically had nothing to lose (Tito Ortiz). Ortiz held the Light Heavyweight belt in an era where MMA was an 8th tier sport and not just a 2nd tier sport. An era where single discipline fighers could win mixed-martial arts fights in the UFC. Well, times have changed and so has Rashad Evans.

What I saw from Suga Rashad tonight, was a composed, methodical fighter, like GSP, but with the the fan-friendly desire to finish fights. I leave you now with the Rashad Tito Knockout Video and will update this post accordingly as new reflections surface.
