Nashville Gears Up For Some SEC Basketball
SEC Tournament Preview
The SEC has had a down year this year. With the Big Ten, Big East and even the Pac 12 filling the rankings of the Top 25, there has been little SEC presence this year, even from a powerhouse program like the Kentucky Wildcats. With March Madness upon us, let’s take a brief look at the SEC tournament and see what programs may make a run at the conference championship.

With a conference that features only one nationally ranked team in the Florida Gators, the SEC tournament may end up being a highly competitive tournament with an automatic bid up for grabs. Can teams like the Kentucky Wildcats, Missouri Tigers, Alabama Crimson Tide or the Tennessee Volunteers make a run at the Big Dance? You’ll have to tune in to find out or if you are down in Nashville, snatch up some tickets to take in the action.
This year’s tournament kicks off this coming Wednesday, March 13 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville with South Carolina taking on Mississippi State at 6:30 pm EST. It will run through Sunday, March 17, when the championship game will take place at 12:00 pm and will be televised on ABC.
