After two games in Chicago, the Blackhawks and Bruins head to Boston for Game 3 of the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals. Bergeron, Krejci, Rask and the rest of the Bruins have home-ice advantage for the first time this series as the two Original Six teams face off Monday June 17 at 8:00 PM ET.
With the series tied 1-1 after Chicago’s Game 1 4-3 triple overtime win and Boston’s 2-1 win in Game 2, the pressure was on for both teams to take the lead in Game 3. But it was the Bruins who came out on top, beating the Blackhawks 2-0 to take a 2-1 lead in the Stanley Cup Finals. The Bruins two goals were shot by Daniel Paille and Patrice Bergeron. Also critical to Boston’s success in Game 3 was goaltender Tuukka Rask, as he blocked all 28 shots on goal.
