The Octagon makes its return to Atlanta with April’s UFC 145: Jones vs. Evans and it looks like the UFC’s youngest champion could finally be getting his feet under him. Jon ‘Bones’ Jones has always been a dominating force in the cage, but historically has never been able to pull in the larger PPV dollars as easily as other champion fighters.

Now Jones faces perhaps the biggest test of his young career in former friend and training partner ‘Suga’ Rashad Evans. Evans, a former UFC light heavyweight champion served as a mentor to an extremely green but talented Jones when he first began training with famed coach Greg Jackson in Albuquerque. The pair have had a very public falling out following Jones’ rise to prominence as one of the organizations top pound for pound fighters. Evans claimed Jackson’s favoritism of the rising star made it clear he would need to train elsewhere, forcing the former champion to relocate. Both Jones and Evans have traded verbal barbs numerous times, but the two will finally settle the score April 21 during the main event of UFC 145.
