Wimbledon 2012 Tickets
It’s not too late to see your favorite tennis players in action at Wimbledon! Although top seeds Rafael Nadal and Maria Sharapova have both been eliminated from the tournament, there is still plenty of top-quality tennis to be played. Wimbledon Men’s Draw
On the men’s side of the draw, Rafael Nadal is gone, but seeds 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 9 all remain. Novak Djokovic is a sure favorite. Djokovic has won 3 out of the last 4 majors, with his only loss coming at the French Open to none other than Nadal. Roger Federer is also in the mix, as he was one of the first players to move on to the quarterfinals. Don’t count out British native Andy Murray or the Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. A dark horse is the 10th seeded American, Mardy Fish. After a health scare earlier in the year that led to a heart operation, Fish is a feel-good comeback story, and he is not disappointing the fans in London.
Wimbledon Women’s Draw
The quarterfinals are set on the women’s side, and one major name is missing. The top seed Maria Sharapova was upset by 15th seeded German Sabine Lasicki in the Fourth Round, 4-6, 3-6. 6th seeded Serena Williams is the only American left in the draw, and she will face 4th seeded Petra Kvitova in the quarters. Also still standing are 2nd seeded Victoria Azarenka of Belarus and 3rd seeded Pole Agnieszka Radwanska. The most surprising qualifier to the quarterfinals is 21 year old unseeded Austrian Tamira Paszek.

Wimbledon tickets are always popular and always expensive. This year is no different. Tickets for the men’s final are starting from $2,288 and $1,105 VIP Section passes are being sold which don’t even include entry to the actual championship match! The most expensive 2012 Men’s Finals Tickets are going for $13,816 each.
