It seems like just yesterday we were talking about the aftermath of WrestleMania 34: Ronda Rousey’s official WWE debut, a brilliant Universal Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, an unexpected duel between The Undertaker and John Cena. It was a phenomenal event that set the wrestling world and the city of New Orleans on fire.

Fast forward almost a year, and it’s about that time again. Are you planning on attending this year’s WrestleMania? Here’s everything you need to know about the most entertaining night in sports.

When and Where is WrestleMania 35?

WrestleMania 35 gets underway on Sunday, April 7 inside MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Home of the New York Giants and Jets, this iconic stadium will hold more than 80,000 spectators for wrestling’s flagship event.

WrestleMania 35 Matches

While we certainly don’t know every match that will take place at WrestleMania 35, there are a few big ones that we can already discuss.

Universal Championship – Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins

Thanks to his victory at this year’s Royal Rumble, Lesnar was able to choose his WrestleMania battle. He chose the Universal Championship, where he’ll take on Seth Rollins, rekindling a rivalry that’s been going on since 2015.

No Holds Barred – Triple H vs. Batista

Recently, Batista appeared on Raw to publicly request this match against Triple H. This should prove to be one of the crazier battles of the night, as it’s a No Holds Barred (otherwise known as No Disqualification) match. Essentially, anything goes, and that’s just how these two veteran wrestlers want it.

The Miz vs. Shane McMahon

These two former tag team partners recently lost out on regaining a title after a bad match against The Usos. The son of Vince turned on The Miz, attacking him and, then the next week, announcing this WrestleMania match on Smackdown.

Raw Women’s Championship – Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair

This Triple Threat match for the belt features Rousey, who’s made waves recently through her highly publicizes issues with WWE and her fellow competitors. Her words and social media posts have only exacerbated her feud with Lynch. Add in Charlotte Flair, and this is shaping up to be one of the most exciting matches of the PPV event.

Cruiserweight Championship

The WWE has also confirmed a Cruiserweight Championship match between Buddy Murphy and a wrestler to be determined later. There’s currently a tournament being held on WWE 205 Live and the winner of that will face Murphy for the title.

Kurt Angle’s Farewell Match – Angle vs. TBD

On a recent episode of Raw, Hall-of-Fame wrestler Kurt Angle announcement his retirement, and that he would have his farewell match at WrestleMania. While we don’t know who he’ll be matched up against just yet, this is definitely a part of the event you won’t want to miss.

WrestleMania 35 Rumors

The big rumor is the match for the WWE Championship. It’s looking like Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston will square off for the title. While it’s still not set in stone, Kingston has become a star, seemingly overnight, and he’s likely to get his big break at WrestleMania.

Also, we should see the return of the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal and the Andre the Giant Battle Royal, both of which have become big parts of the event.

Keep an eye out over the next few weeks to learn about more the other matches that will take place during WrestleMania 35. With this being the flagship pay-per-view event for the WWE, there’s no doubt that it’ll feature plenty of excitement throughout the day-long event.
