Tennessee Titans Details

Formerly known as the Houston Oilers, the franchise relocated to Tennessee in 1997 and adopted the Titans nickname two years later. They won their first AFC title that same year, losing the subsequent Super Bowl by a literal inch on the game’s final play. Since 1999, the Titans have played their home games at Nissan Stadium, which is situated on the Cumberland River. Since the organization moved to Tennessee, franchise legends have included running back Eddie George, tight end Frank Wycheck and quarterback Steve McNair.
