The Story of The Homecoming tickets
Written by the late Award-winning playwright Harold Pinter, The Homecoming is a six-character play centering on the homecoming of Teddy and Ruth, who returns to North London where she grew up after living in the United States for several years. Known for his trade-mark pauses and subtext, Pinter examines sexual tension as well as relationships between the characters of brothers Max, a retired butcher and Sam, a chauffuer as well as their three sons, Teddy, Lenny, Joey, and Teddy's wife, Ruth. Written in 1964 by Nobel laureate, Harold Pinter, and first published in 1965, the original Broadway production won the 1967 Tony Award for Best Play and its 40th-anniversary Broadway production at the Cort Theatre was nominated for a 2008 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play. The production has featured the talents of James Frain as Teddy, Ian McShane as Max, Raul Esparza as Lenny, Michael McKean as Sam, Eve Best as Ruth, and Gareth Saxe as Joey, and is directed by Daniel Sullivan. As this Award-winning play continues to gain various production around the globe, fans seek The Homecoming ticket with baited breath.
