Originally mounted by The Manhattan Theatre Club, Time Stands Still had it's first Broadway performance on September 23, 2010 and successfully opened on October 7, 2010. The show was an official production of Manhattan Theatre Club, lead by Artistic Director Lynne Meadow and Executive Prducer Barry Grove. Other producers of the show included Nelle Nugent, Bud Martin, Ted Snowdon, Wendy Federman, Ted Showdon, Max Cooper, Susanne Adamski, Mari Nakachi, Elisabeth Morten, Sharon A. Carr, Jack Dalgleish, Joseph Sirola, and Kenneth Teaton. The star studded cast includes three-time Academy Award nominee and Golden Glove winner Laura Linney, two-time Tony nominee Brian d'Arcy James, Drama Desk Award winner Eric Bogosian and Golden Glove and Emmy nominee Christina Ricci. The show is directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan.

Time Stands Still explores the funny and serious antics of relationships in a state of flux. Following the characters of Sarah and James, a photojournalist and a foreign correspondent trying to find happiness and fulfillment amidst reporting in a crazy world, the play examines what happens with a partnership is based on trying to make a difference. As the couples own story takes a turn for the worst, Sarah and James must cope with the changes that may or may not overtake them.
